Points for a job offer / arranged employment were removed from Express Entry in March 2025, so they no longer count toward your CRS score.
Your estimated CRS score
230/ 1200
An estimate for planning, not an official IRCC result. Recent general-draw cut-offs have ranged roughly 480–550; category-based draws (French, healthcare, trades) often cut lower. Cut-offs change every draw.

CRS points for each CLB level
Your first official language earns points for each of the four skills. CLB 4 and 5 earn the same points, so the jumps that matter are CLB 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.
| CLB | Per skill, single | Per skill, with spouse | All four, single / spouse |
|---|---|---|---|
| Below 4 | 0 | 0 | 0 / 0 |
| 4 or 5 | 6 | 6 | 24 / 24 |
| 6 | 9 | 8 | 36 / 32 |
| 7 | 17 | 16 | 68 / 64 |
| 8 | 23 | 22 | 92 / 88 |
| 9 | 31 | 29 | 124 / 116 |
| 10+ | 34 | 32 | 136 / 128 |
CLB 9 in all four skills also lifts skill-transferability points: with a degree or foreign work experience you can earn up to 50 points instead of 25 at CLB 7.

How is the CRS score calculated?
The 1,200-point total has four buckets: core/human-capital factors (up to 500 points, or 460 with a spouse), spouse factors (up to 40), skill-transferability factors (up to 100), and additional points (up to 600, including a provincial nomination, Canadian study, French skills, or a sibling in Canada).
Does a job offer still add CRS points?
No. As of March 25, 2025, IRCC removed the 50–200 CRS points previously awarded for arranged employment. A valid job offer no longer affects your CRS score, though it can still matter for program eligibility.
Which language test should I take?
For English, IRCC accepts CELPIP-General, IELTS General Training, and PTE Core; for French, TEF Canada and TCF Canada. CELPIP maps one-to-one onto CLB. Check IRCC's current requirements before choosing a test.
Is this an official IRCC result?
No. This is an independent planning tool. Your official score is calculated in your Express Entry profile, and this calculator does not determine immigration eligibility. Confirm details with IRCC.
